This Privacy Policy describes how the PDF Toolkit mobile application ("the App", "we", "us") handles information when you use the App. PDF Toolkit is developed and operated by an independent developer based in Pakistan.

1. Summary

PDF Toolkit is designed to work entirely on your device. We do not operate any server that receives, stores, or processes the files you create or edit in the App (images, PDFs, or any text you add to them). All file conversion, merging, splitting, and editing happens locally on your phone.

2. Information We Access

• Camera: Used only if you choose to take a photo to convert into a PDF. Photos are processed on-device and are not uploaded anywhere by the App.
• Photos / Files on your device: Used only when you manually select images or PDF files to convert, merge, split, or edit. The App does not scan your device or access files you have not explicitly selected.
• Advertising ID: Used by our advertising partner (Google AdMob) to show ads and measure ad performance. See Section 4 below.

3. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, location, or any other personal information. We do not require an account or login to use the App. Files you create or edit with the App are stored only on your device and are never transmitted to us.

4. Advertising

PDF Toolkit displays ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use data (such as your advertising ID and general usage data) to show personalized or non-personalized ads, in accordance with Google's own privacy policy. You can review how Google handles this data here:

You can opt out of personalized advertising through your device's ad settings (Settings → Privacy → Ads, on most Android devices).

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share any personal information with third parties, except as described in Section 4 (advertising) or where required by law.

6. Data Security

Since your files are processed and stored locally on your device and are never uploaded to us, the security of your files depends on your own device's security settings.

7. Children's Privacy

PDF Toolkit is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
